The diagram below shows an outline of the services the Altair SLC Hub uses in Azure.

The Altair SLC Hub runs as Azure VMs, which may be sized according to need, and the type of processing desired.

An Azure Application Gateway routes traffic to the Altair SLC Hub.

The Altair SLC Hub integrates into Azure using the native PostgreSQL database and Object store, to provide storage for the database and job/pipeline results. This is more cost efficient and stable than using the internal systems. It also simplifies backup.

Shared storage is provided using an Azure Shared File Storage.

The Altair SLC Hub may connect to Azure's Aactive Directory LDAP or an external LDAP as configured.

If you want the Altair SLC Hub to send e-mail, it may connected to an e-mail service, either within Azure or externally as desired.
