Altair SLC Hub Worker Node Installation

Some features require that worker nodes are created and registered with the Hub server. The worker nodes are where the main Altair SLC Hub workloads are executed.

It is recommended that separate machines are used for the Hub server and worker(s). This ensures that workloads do not interfere with the operation or stability of the main Altair SLC Hub services.

  1. Worker Installation: Install the worker software.
  2. Hostnames and Routing: Configure hostnames and check the routing.
  3. Add Worker (On Separate Machine): Add a worker that is on a different machine to the server.
  4. Add Worker (On Hub Server): Add a worker that is on the same machine as the server.
  5. Configure SLC: Configure an Altair SLC installation.
