Cluster Nodes

The Cluster Nodes page shows the nodes that are running as part of the Altair SLC Hub deployment.

This page also indicates whether each cluster node is server-licensed or worker-licensed.

You can do the following: - Filter the listed cluster nodes by status and node label. - Click a cluster node to view its properties.

You can view more information about the listed nodes by clicking the displayed name of the node. Information about the node is available from the Properties, Monitor, and Job Executions tabs.

Properties tab

In the Properties tab, you can view

  • whether the node is a worker node or a Altair SLC Hub server
  • information about disk usage for the node
  • for a worker node, the installed version of Altair SLC
  • associated node labels
  • detailed node attributes.

Monitor tab

In the Monitor tab, you can view the CPU and memory resource utilization.

Job Executions tab

In the Job Executions tab, you can view the jobs for programs that have been run. You can filter the job executions listed based on status as well as dates created and modified.

Clicking a job execution item displays the Job Execution information. This page can be used to view the resource utilization, and its associated tasks and files for the job.

Job Execution Information tab

In the Job Execution Information tab, you can:

  • Click Restart to requests the execution to be restarted in place.
  • Click Stop to stop the current execution.
    This can cause it to be rescheduled elsewhere.

Resource Utilization

In the Resource Utilization tab, you can view the amount of resources consumed by the selected cluster job execution.

Tasks tab

In the Tasks tab, you can view the tasks associated with the selected cluster job execution, including its status and event information. Click a task to view additional information and access its log files. Select a log file to view or download it.

Files tab

In the Files tab, you can view all the files associated with the selected cluster job execution and perform the following:

  • Click more (...) to the right of a file to download.
  • Enter an item name to filter the list.
  • Click Refresh to refresh the list.
  • Click Go up to to navigate to the upper directory.
  • Click Sort for the Name, Modified, or Size column to display the list in ascending or descending order.
