Installation Guide

The installation and setup of Altair SLC Hub is broken down into the following steps. All steps must be completed to install and configure a functioning Altair SLC Hub instance.

Before starting installation, ensure you have read Planning for Installation, which describes supported platforms and system requirements.

Installation Steps

Follow the steps below in order. The steps are the same for both Linux and Windows unless otherwise noted.

    • Retrieve the ServiceAdmin Password
    • Access the Keycloak Admin Console

What happens after installation

Completing the steps above will give you a minimally installed and functioning Altair SLC Hub instance with:

• Core services running and verified
• A working admin user account for portal access
• Basic authentication configured
