Guide
By default Altair SLC Hub secures its internal communications with TLS by means of a self-signed Certificate Authority.
This is detailed in the Internal TLS Reference.
Some customers may prefer to secure these communications using a different Certificate Authority, for example a public Root Certificate Authority or a Subordinate Certificate Authority.
This section details the changes required when installing Hub without the default CA process.
Note
The use of both internal object store and internal database is unsupported when not using the default Altair SLC Hub self-signed Certificate Authority: Altair SLC Hub must be configured to use an external object store and an external database.
