Asynchronous On Demand

The Invocation section of the Altair SLC Hub portal is used to view and manage the asynchronous on demand execution of programs.

The Dashboard page which shows the most recent asynchronous executions, and asynchronous executions which have been nominated as Favourites.

To nominate a program as a Favourite use the ... to the right of a listed execution on any of the Program, History or Dashboard pages.

The Programs page lists all the programs that have been deployed. The list may be filtered by name or category.

Each program listed has a Run button that starts program execution.

Each program listed links to a page which lists all the executions of the program. Each entry in the execution list links to the Results and Log for the run.

The History page lists all programs that have been executed asynchronously. Each entry in the list links to the Results and Log for the run.

Asynchronous execution by external clients

The Deployment page of the Deployment Services section lists all the programs that have been allocated to a Worker Node. The list may be filtered by name or category.

Each program listed links to a page that lists the endpoint for asynchronous execution.

The program may be executed asynchronously by any client program capable of calling the URL shown.
