The diagram below shows an outline of the services Altair SLC Hub uses in Azure.

Altair SLC Hub runs as Azure VMs that may be sized according to need and the type of processing required.

An Azure Application Gateway routes traffic to the Altair SLC Hub.

Altair SLC Hub integrates into Azure using the native PostgreSQL database and Object store, to provide storage for the database and job/pipeline results. This is more cost efficient and stable than using the internal systems. It also simplifies backup.

Shared storage is provided using an Azure Shared File Storage.

Altair SLC Hub may connect to Azure's Active Directory LDAP or an external LDAP as configured.

If you want Altair SLC Hub to send e-mail, it may connect to an e-mail service, either with Azure or externally as required.
